Community
Pepper Stone Ceramics is centered around human connection. Whether that be creating vessels by hand to later be in yours, or uplifting the community through monetary or pottery donation.
In the past, Pepper Stone Ceramics donated 5% of net profits, however, we will be focusing on other ways to donate moving forward (i.e. donating bowls to Sin Barreras Empty Bowls Fundraiser). This will allow us to invest more in the expansion of the pottery studio and hopefully be able to host + donate even more in the future.
2023 Q4 + 2024 Q1-Q2 Nonprofit Selection:
a nonprofit organization providing urgently needed humanitarian aid in moments of crisis and conflict. Currently donating towards aid in Gaza.
a nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation facility serving Virginia’s native species and human communities
a nonprofit organization ensuring a healthy start to life for under-served children in the Charlottesville area by providing them with the essentials needs from their earliest days to age 3
dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and their families.
In addition, Pepper Stone was able to donate 25 bowls this year to Sin Barreras for their Empty Bowls event, raising money for their organization by selling local, donated pottery.
Q1-Q3, 2023 nonprofit selection:
Best Friends Animal Society, The Trevor Project, Rivanna Conservation Alliance, and International Neighbors
Raffle Based Donations:
SUMMER 2022 donation: $1,314
